The price depends on distance and ride type. A Solo ride starts at 3,000 BIF pickup plus 900 BIF per kilometre. A Hamwe seat costs about a quarter of the Solo price. The exact price always shows before you confirm, and it doesn't change.

Cash to the driver, Lumicash or EcoCash, or your company's account. For mobile money, you type the transaction reference in the app and Genda confirms it.

The app shows the driver's name, photo and plate. You give them your 4-digit ride code: without it, the ride can't start.

The cars charge overnight at the Genda garage and have enough range for a day's work. Before every shift the driver checks the battery: the system won't put them online below 50%.

Yes, from 30 minutes to 7 days ahead for Solo, VIP, VIP by the hour and parcels. You get a reminder about an hour before.

Never pay more than the price shown. After the ride, report it in the app (“The driver asked for more”) or on WhatsApp: every report goes straight to the Genda team.

Fill in the form on the Drive with Genda page. You need a valid driving licence and good knowledge of Bujumbura. Genda provides the electric car and the training.
